Meerlust Estate Red 75cl

Meerlust Red, first released in 1985, began as a declassified Rubicon and became a permanent part of the range in 2020 due to its popularity. Made from estate-grown grapes, it blends fruit from four unique terroirs, each adding character to the final wine.

Youthful ruby red colour, with a garnet red hue. Supple red and black fruit, with warm spice on the nose with some supporting oak notes. Still young and intense, the palate is full bodied, structured but packed with fresh red fruit and soft rounded tannins.

Venison, game, pot roast and noble cheese.
Serving temperature 16 - 18°C | Ideal storage temperatures: Red Wine: 12 °C - 19 °C, White Wine: 8 °C - 12 °C, Champagne: 5 °C - 8 °C. | Wine is best stored in a dark room, vibration-free and with humidity under 70%
