Description
Woodfired wines are authentically Heathcote and perfectly crafted to accompany a chargrilled ribeye. Bold, brooding and delicious. Destemmed and fermented at 25-30°C over 8-12 days. Pressed and matured in vats and casks for 7 months. Racked and aerated regularly to soften the wine. Tasting Notes
Intense dark red color with a purple edge, showcasing ripe blackberry and cassis flavors along with notes of cedarwood and liquorice. It is soft, rich, and mouth-coating, with balanced tannins.

Chargrilled sirloin, wood-fired margherita pizza or green prawns over hot charcoal.
