Moillard, historically based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Cote de Nuits, offers Domaine wines (Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune) and a traditional signature of Burgundy wines. The old documents of Nuits-Saint-Georges attest that the Moillard family already owned vineyards before the French Revolution. But the Winery saw a real boom in 1850, when Symphorien Moillard bought his first wines to satisfy an order too important for his own Domain, thus initiating his activity of wine trading. Since then, Moillard has carried out the meticulous job of wine making and aging to bring all their wines to their full potential. : Vintage and Image may vary
Supple vanilla veils fruit notes on the nose of this wine while more swirling brings hints of mocha. The palate wraps this mocha-edged vanilla around ripe, rounded black cherry that is held in a firm embrace of drying, robust tannins. Underlying freshness highlights the tautness of the structure.
Pairs perfectly with Fish - Meaty & Oily, Duck & Game Bird
