Tertre in French means hillk or rising ground, which is where the vineyards are located. With a history dating back to 1143, du Tertre is one of the oldest properties in the Left Bank of Bordeaux.

Chateau du Tertre, opulent with rich dark fruits, develops subtle aromas of violet characteristic of the appellation. It is powerful and perfectly balanced.
