Vieux Chateaux des Combes is located in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, just five kilometers away from the historic village of Saint-Emilion. Its name suggests some wine was produced here in the 17th century when the Benedictine abbey was built and vines were planted, scattered around the buildings, growing on little hills and valleys, known as combes. The Chateaux today is surrounded by vineyards, copses, trees and a half-hectare pond. It has kept the calm dignity of a spot for quite contemplation that is perfect for making a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru of the highest quality.
Beef and Venison
Very intense, brilliant ruby robe with violet highlights.Complex nose, refined and persistent with an aroma of ripe berries. Smooth, balanced with hints of fruits, vanilla and mocha.
