Description
Aged for 15 months in new and used French and Hungarian oak barrels. After blending, Tignanello, which is mostly Sangiovese with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, aged an additional 12 months in the bottle before release.
Tasting Notes
Intense and elegant, with aromas of cherry, black cherry, pomegranate, violet, and subtle balsamic notes layered with hints of vanilla. Dense yet fresh on the palate, with supple savory tannins and a long, refined finish.
