Sasseo Primitivo I.G.T. Salento 75cl

The unique style of this Primitivo is a perfect combination of freshness and softness.The velvety effect is achieved thanks to a slight overripening of a percentage of the grapes, which increases its pleasantness and enriches its aromatic spectrum. Sasseo ages for 12 months in large Slavonian barrels and for another 6 months in the bottle.

Deep ruby ??red, intense aromas of plums and red fruit jam with spicy sweet notes. On the palate, it is enveloping, warm, and soft, expressing very ripe fruit with a pleasing backbone of sweet tannins.

Pairs well with typical dishes from Puglia, such as pureed broad beans with chicory, grilled red meats, roast lamb, and medium-matured cheeses.
Serving temperature 16-18 °C | Ideal storage temperatures: Red Wine: 12 °C - 19 °C, White Wine: 8 °C - 12 °C, Champagne: 5 °C - 8 °C. | Wine is best stored in a dark room, vibration-free and with humidity under 70%
