San Simone Sugano Cabernet Franc DOC Friuli Grave 75cl

The vines for this Cabernet Franc from Friuli, are derived from a clonal selection of Carmenère. Originating from the area of Porcia, immortalized in cadastral maps as Sugano, where our vineyards thrive, this wine boasts a formidable character that continues to define modern oenology.

Deep Ruby color. Aromas of herbaceous, mineral, and fruity notes with hints of bell pepper, cinnamon, and cloves. Full-bodied with harmonious tannins and refreshing acidity, it has a long, persistent finish.

Ideal pairings include cold meats, roasted red meats, and game dishes. mature cheeses such as Montasio, and it shines alongside regional specialties like Pitina Della Val Tramontina, polenta concia, and lamb with kren.
