Description
This is our Super Sicilian. The power of Nero d'Avola meets the roundness of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in a Sicilian Bordeaux blend. The ageing in oak barrels makes the Nero d'Avola roundet, and enhances the both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon which on layer and medium texture soil develop their typical complexity resulting in a wine with a long ageing potential. Noa like Noah the first man to make wine.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red color. Intense aromas of red currant, blackberry, herbs, black pepper, sweet spices, and light smoky notes. Full-bodied and powerful palate with ripe tannins and refreshing acidity. Smooth, warm, and persistent finish with hints of dark fruit, liquorice, chocolate, and tobacco.
Serving Suggestions
Pairs very well with Grilled steak, lamb, game meats, slow cooked beef dishes, age cheeses & truffle pasta or mushroom risoto.
