The six hectares of vine covering the beautiful property of Clos Beauregard are situated on the south-eastern boundary of Pomerol where it borders St-Emilion. The soil in this part of Pomerol is of light, filtering, very fine-grained gravel & sand. The vineyard borders Château Beauregard, to which it was attached until the 1930s. In 2011, the Helfrich family took over the property and so began a new chapter in the history of Clos Beauregard.
