Description
At Clos Beauregard every attention is paid to protecting the fruit as much as possible. We follow conventional vinification methods, adapting them to each vintage. Pumping over and racking and returning are techniques used to optimise the exchange between the juice and the grape solids. The wine is then aged in new French oak barrels. There it will reveal its character and develop a lovely structure.
Tasting Notes
Persistent palate with aromas of bilberry jam and vanilla. The finish is balanced, elegant, and smooth, showing good ageing potential. Full-bodied with charm and richness.

Pairs well with roast lamb, duck, beef tenderloin, truffle dishes, and rich mushroom-based recipes.

The six hectares of vine covering the beautiful property of Clos Beauregard are situated on the south-eastern boundary of Pomerol where it borders St-Emilion. The soil in this part of Pomerol is of light, filtering, very fine-grained gravel & sand. The vineyard borders Château Beauregard, to which it was attached until the 1930s. In 2011, the Helfrich family took over the property and so began a new chapter in the history of Clos Beauregard.
