The origin of Château Timberlay goes back to the 14th century, during the 100 Years' War, when Aquitaine was under English domination. The château was destroyed during the French Revolution, later rebuilt, and has been completely renovated since the Second World War. The wine of Château Timberlay has won prizes regularly for the past century, and has an excellent international reputation.

Deeply colored and concentrated, this wine offers generous aromas of ripe black fruits with refreshing freshness. Full-bodied and elegant on the palate, it features refined tannins, great finesse, and a vibrant expression of its clay-limestone terroir.

Pairs well with roasted lamb, grilled beef and steak, duck breast, Beef Wellington, game meats, and aged cheeses.
