Description
The Château Patache d'Aux is a cuvée of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. In the glass it is dark garnet red with an expressive scent of dark berries with a subtle roasted note and a little vanilla. Fine spicy aromas at the end. On the palate it is equally fruity and spicy with a balanced acid structure and a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is long and juicy.
Goes well with rack of lamb roasted under a herb crust with oven-baked tomatoes and gnocchi, or roasted meat dishes and mature cheese. Once again a great vintage with a wonderful drinking flow!
