Description

Chateau Nenin’s Grand Vin is a benchmark Pomerol, grown on the prized clay and gravel plateau, blending predominantly Merlot with an increasing dose of Cabernet Franc to boost structure and freshness. After fermentation in stainless steel, it’s aged for around 18 months in 30% new oak. The result is a powerfully elegant and refined wine with layered complexity, structured tannins, and excellent aging potential.

Tasting Notes

Elegant and structured, with notes of ripe plum, black cherry, violet, and hints of spice and cocoa. Silky tannins and fresh acidity lead to a long, refined finish with excellent aging potential.

Serving Suggestions

Pairs well with Roast duck or lamb, Beef tenderloin or veal, Truffle or mushroom dishes, Rich stews (beef bourguignon) and Agrd Cheeses.||Serve between 16° - 18° C
