Concentrated aromas of dark fruit, spice, tobacco and wood. Full-bodied and a rich palate, showing complex fruit notes of cherries, plums and blackberries, underlying vanilla, spice, cedar and cigar box. Sweet liquorice and creamy tannins.
Great match with roast, gratinated vegetables and potatoes with a thyme sauce
Chateau Capet-Guillier is a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, from a small estate lying to the south of the town of Saint-Emilion, close to the village of Saint-Hippolyte. Owned by the same family since the French Revolution, Antoine Moueix Propriétés took over the property in 2009. Stéphane Derenoncourt and Benoît Coq lead the winemaking team, producing an excellent Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from the estate's three hectares of vines.
