Roquette & Cazes 75cl

Roquette & Cazes is a collaboration between the Roquette family (Quinta do Crasto, Douro) and the Cazes family (Château Lynch-Bages, Bordeaux), blending three grape varieties from a distinctive Douro terroir. Launched with the 2006 vintage, it combines Douro character with Bordeaux winemaking expertise. More approachable than its sibling Xisto, it is ready to drink on release while still offering good aging potential.

Deep ruby in colour. The nose offers outstanding aromatic intensity, with fresh red fruits and subtle notes of fine spice. Seductive on the palate, it shows excellent structure, with velvety, well-integrated tannins. The finish is complex and persistent.

Best with grilled or slow-cooked meats, herb-seasoned lamb, and rich savoury dishes, where the wine’s velvety tannins and spice notes complement the depth of flavour.
Serving temperature 16-18°C | Ideal storage temperatures: Red Wine: 12 °C - 19 °C, White Wine: 8 °C - 12 °C, Champagne: 5 °C -  8 °C. | Wine is best stored in a dark room, vibration-free and with humidity under 70%.
