Description

"Les Arenes" is a beautiful example of the Cornas appellation. From a blend of different parcels with south/ southeast exposure. Soil of decomposed granite known locally as gore (granite area). Sectors of Reynards, Masard, Champelrose, les Cotes. Aged in 600L barrels, mostly in small casks (10% of new wood) for 16 to 18 months.

Tasting Notes

Intense red colour with purple lights. Very ripe fruits, raspberry and blackcurrant jams. Blackberries, spices, morello cherry. Dense and tight tannins with a great persistency in mouth.

Serving Suggestions

Goes well with Beef entrecote with chimichurri and sunny vegetable crumble.
Serving temperature 15 - 17°C | Ideal storage temperatures: Red Wine: 12 °C - 19 °C, White Wine: 8 °C - 12 °C, Champagne: 5 °C - 8 °C. | Wine is best stored in a dark room, vibration-free and with humidity under 70%.
