Description
Sweetly fruited Pinot Noir is world famous in Marlborough, but we've made it our own by including a few whole bunches. It's a tricky process, and much more labour-intensive, but when done well it turns the wine to velvet. The stems build silkier tannins and lend a heavenly fragrance. The final twist is a turn in a smoky oak barrel.
Tasting Notes
Earthy nose, subtle oak, reminiscent of smoked meat, with light florals and vibrant light red fruits. Subtle dark cherry and red berry flavors with savoury mineral/graphite-like notes. Fine, well integrated, and delicate tannin structure.

Duck, lamb, charcuterie, salmon.
