Description
A family spirit that has endured. For the Helfrich family, the adventure began in 1979 in Alsace, when Joseph Helfrich launched his business as a producer of wines and sparking wines. Since 2007, his ambition as a wine lover has been to promote Calvet's expertise worldwide.
Tasting Notes
Very intense, garnet red-purple. Red fruit and blackcurrants, with spicy notes, typical of this variety. Nice tannic structure, notes of liquorice, good persistence and length on the palate.
Serving Suggestions
Ideal with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, burgers, barbecue, and aged cheeses.
