Description
This excellent Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo grapes in the prestigious Langhe region, specifically from Treiso, Barbaresco, and Neive. After manual harvesting, the wine undergoes controlled fermentation with about fifteen days of skin contact and malolactic fermentation. It is then aged in oak barrels for twenty-four months. The Stardè label has won major international awards and exemplifies Dezzan's tradition of crafting exceptional wine.
Tasting Notes
The bouquet is intense and complex, featuring ripe red fruit, vanilla, spices, and a pleasant woody note. On the palate, the wine is warm and harmonious with soft, elegant tannins.
Serving Suggestions
Barbaresco pairs well with all the typical dishes from Piedmont. Long cooked meats, aged cheese and of course with truffle.
