Description
The grapes are hand-picked and dried on reed mats for 3 months to develop "noble rot." They then ferment in oak barrels for about a month, age in barrels for 12 months, and finally mature in the bottle for at least another year.
Tasting Notes
Bright gold yellow. Intense with candied citrus, tropical fruit, and mature floral notes. Rich and smooth, with flavors of caramelized fruit, spices, and a balanced oak influence.
Serving Suggestions
Excellent with great blue cheeses with fig salami and Mantua's fruit mustard. Perfect with foie gras, duck breast with orange.
