Description

Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is a clean, crisp Scotch that provides a perfect introduction to the delights of single malt whisky. Dalwhinnie is the highest and coldest distillery in Scotland and was founded at the end of the 19th century. Dalwhinnie Scotch is the only Highland whisky to offer a combination of clean and easy-drinking, malty-sweet flavors with a smooth and smoky warmth. Dalwhinnie releases its full honeyed sweetness when served chilled or over ice. It makes the perfect gift for whisky lovers looking for a smooth, deliciously enjoyable single malt.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Gold.
Nose: A big, crisp, dry and very aromatic Nose with hints of heather and peat.
Taste: Smooth, soft and lasting flavours of heather-honey sweetness and vanilla followed by deeper citrus-fruit flavours and hints of malted bread.
Finish: Smooth, light to medium body. Long, lingering, surprisingly intense Finish that starts sweetly, then gives way to smoke, peat and malt.

Serving Suggestions

The clean, heather flavours call for a neat serve, and perhaps a little still spring water.
