The original Bushmills recipe is from the pre-Prohibition era. Combining our single malt and finer grain whiskeys, you'll notice its rich, smooth warming taste almost instantly, just as generations have done before. Bushmills Original is made from the best Irish barley and crystal clear water, and is triple-distilled in traditional copper stills. The whiskey is made slowly and aged in both bourbon and sherry barrels, which results in notes of fresh fruit and vanilla.

Bushmills Original is a gentle whiskey with a rich, warming taste of fresh fruit and vanilla. Light fruity nose and spicy aroma. Vanilla note developing into vanilla ice cream and crème brûlée. Palate: gently warming, mouth-coating texture. A touch of honey and sweetness. A crisp, fresh finish with a touch of spice.
