Description
Glera is a native grape variety of northeastern Italy, known since Roman times. A white grape variety, it has hazelnut-colored shoots and produces large, long clusters with golden-yellow berries.
Tasting Notes
Soft pink, bright, and elegant with fine, long-lasting bubbles. Fruity notes of berries and tropical fruit, plus floral hints of roses and violets. Fresh and smooth with a persistent floral aftertaste and wild strawberry hints.
Serving Suggestions
Surprising as an aperitif. Excellent when matched with fish, seafood or delicate meat dishes and cheeses. It makes a delicious partner for spicy dishes and ethnic cuisine
