Brand Info
Johnnie Walker is the biggest whisky brand in the world. It all begins with John Walker in 1819. His father has just passed away, a tough start, but John Walker knew there was light after the darkness. Showing a keen interest in single malts. Back in the day, tehre used to be an inconsistency in his preferred range of whisky. So, John started blending the whiskies togetehr to make one that he would definitely love. Years passed, his son Alexander was left with a healthy business of whisky in 1857. Alexander the unique blend of whisky was advertised for the world to see and soon enough people around the world wanted a taste of it as well. When it was turn to pass the company along to his sons in 1889, his sons, Alexander and George did right by him by renaming a new range of whiskies after their distinctive label colours. King George V is an iconic extension of the Johnnie Walker range is truly breath-taking. King George V celebrated the first Royal Warrant granted to John Walker and Sons Ltd to supply Scotch whisky to the British Royal Household in 1934. What is so extravagant about this edition is that this whisky is apparently designed to recreate how JW may have tasted back in those days. STYLE: Whisky, ALCOHOL BY VOLUME(ABV): 43%
