Rosolio, also called "the liqueur of the past" due to its very ancient origins, spread from the end of the seventeenth century. It was born in convents, where the nuns soaked rose petals in alcohol to produce a liqueur with which to welcome important guests. Within a few years, it became the liqueur of the "ladies", used in particular to celebrate celebrations such as baptisms, engagements and weddings. Thanks to its particular and elegant aroma, with a very 'feminine' taste, it can be considered, today as then, the liqueur of welcome and chat.

Ideal as after dinner and at any time of the day, it is a perfect ingredient for the preparation of cocktails and long drinks. Try it in combination with fresh fruit (especially cherries), almond biscuits and pistachio biscuits.
