With summer knocking on our doors, it is safe to say that the ice-cream and popsicle mode is on full swing. What better way to welcome the warm sunny days and cool off with a nice cold sweet treat!

Let's combine two good things, we grownups love- gummy bears (you can never grow too old) and a nice bottle of Smirnoff Vodka. Mind you, this recipe is not for the faint-hearted (quite literally because these Vodka Gummy Bears is sure to come with a tasty kick of adrenaline and super vodka power).

Steps

  1. Pick a mix of flavoured gummy bears and drop a handful of them into each popsicle mold. Make sure to pick a variety of colours into each one. This helps in the visual effect of the popsicle.
  2. Pour into each mold, Smirnoff Vodka or you can make a cocktail mix or either vodka with CAPI Orange Juice or vodka with Red Bull (whichever one you are in the mood of having iced).
  3. Place the sticks into each mix before freezing the popsicles.
  4. Freeze the mix for about four five hours depending on what your freezer temperature is. Once frozen, take the mold out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes.
  5. This ensures that the popsicle comes out in one piece.
