Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm, settle, breathe in the moment, then break through the smooth, light head to the bittersweet reward. Unmistakeably Guinness, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between. Pure beauty. Pure Guinness.

Brand Info

1800s called for the science of brewing to make the best beer possible, But, it all began with Michael Ash, the inventor of Surge and Settle, or what we know as 'The World's First Nitro Beer'. Micheal Ash was a mathematician turned brewer joined Guinness in 1951. He became fascinated with the idea of serving Guinness in a draught form and was convinced that adding nitrogen will not only prove more effective but would also transform the beer as a whole. The Guinness Draught was developed in 1959, celebrating Arthur Guinness signing his 9000 year lease. The draught is a skilful pairing of nirtogen gas and carbon dioxide that produces the smooth, velvety texture to the beer. The perfectly balanced beer is a rich and creamy beer defined by sweet counters of malt bitter complemented by a base of roasted barley. STYLE: Irish Dry Stout, ALCOHOL BY VOLUME (ABV): 4.20%
