Codigo 1530 Rosa Tequila spends one month aging in French white oak Cabernet wine barrels, imparting their premium Blanco spirit with a natural pink blush and delicate notes of rose petals and red berries. Crafted in collaboration with one of Amatitan, Jaliscos oldest distilling families, Codigo 1530 follows centuries-old codes of Tequila production with an absolute dedication to quality and authenticity. Their Rosa Tequila is a one-of-a-kind expression thanks to a resting period which yields a uniquely fragrant quality. The light pink spirit begins as a pure Blanco tequila before maturing in French white oak barrels that have previously held Cabernet wine from Californias Napa Valley. Resting within these uncharred casks brings the Tequila into direct contact with the richly flavoured character of the wood, gaining floral, fruity, and citrus notes with a slight undercurrent of oak running throughout. Still bearing a distinct prominence of earthy agave but with a soft red wine finish, Codigo 1530 Rosa Tequila is a must for any discerning tequila enthusiast.
