One Baby Guinness Please

Ever heard anyone say that before? No, Baby Guinness is not Guinness is a tiny glass (how absurd would that be). It is a shot that looks like a miniature version of Guinness. But, it actually is made using coffee liqueur and Irish cream. It is pretty cool if you ask us. The key is knowing how to master the act of layering your shot to skillfully make it look like Guinness's dark nature and creamy head.

Ingredients

  • 29 ml Bols Coffee Liqueur
  • 14 ml of Baileys Original Irish Cream

Steps

  1. The key to making a proper layered shot, it is necessary to pour the densest liquor in first.
  2. Take a clear shot glass that is the normal 60 ml.
  3. In this case, Bols Coffee Liqueur, goes in first. This will make for the dark body that represents the Guinness body. If your shot glass is longer, you can add a bit more.
  4. Once ready, Pour them into glasses.
  5. Now, pour in your light liqueur, which is the Baileys Original Irish Cream. The Irish cream makes the foamy froth of the Guinness.
  6. To make it easier, layer the drink with the Irish cream with a spoon evenly instead of pouring it into the coffee liqueur. Serve it up and enjoy Baby Guinness that taste fantastic!
