Wouldn't you agree?

Steps

  1. To make the caramelized onions Cut the ends of the onions and half it from root to tip.
  2. Then keep slice into thin cuts ,Once your onions are cut, melt butter or oil in a sauté flat pan.
  3. Once the butter has melted, add onions and coat them with the melted butter.
  4. Sauté on low heat for about 20 minutes. Do not stir too often. Make sure you scrap the bottom of pan when you stir and combine it with the onions.
  5. Once the onions turn brown and have caramelized to your preference, you can choose either wine or balsamic vinegar for more flavour. (this is an optional step)
  6. Once liquid had evaporated, remove from pan.
  7. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  8. In an oven dish, combine caramelized onions, mayo, sour cream, 1 cup of shredded
  9. Gruyere cheese, garlic powder and pepper.
  10. Stir it and combine the flavours.
  11. Top it with the remaining cheese.
