Don Julio González, the creator of the world'ss first luxurious tequila Don Julio, was a passionate and determined young man, who saw an opportunity to revolutionize tequila from the ground up. As a young man with a passion, he went to a wealthy businessman asking for a loan to see his dream come to life- to open his first distillery. He went on to plant each agave apart allowing space for them to grow and let them grow to full maturity before harvesting. He then selected the most succulent portions of the piña, and then roasted it for a 72-hour cycle, resulting in a smoother, richer quality. Every Don Julio bottle comes from the Highlands of Jalisco. Don Julio Blanco is tequila is its truest form. This silver tequila is known for its crisp agave flavour and hints of citrus like lemon, lime and grapefruit.
