Johnnie Walker is the biggest whisky brand in the world. It all begins with John Walker in 1819. His father has just passed away, a tough start, but John Walker knew there was light after the darkness. Showing a keen interest in single malts. Back in the day, tehre used to be an inconsistency in his preferred range of whisky. So, John started blending the whiskies togetehr to make one that he would definitely love. Years passed, his son Alexander was left with a healthy business of whisky in 1857. Alexander the unique blend of whisky was advertised for the world to see and soon enough people around the world wanted a taste of it as well. When it was turn to pass the company along to his sons in 1889, his sons, Alexander and George did right by him by renaming a new range of whiskies after their distinctive label colours.The Johnnie Walker XR 21 Year Old is inspired by the historic blends of Sir Alexander Walker and was created to honour the knighthood he had received from King George V for his servies to the nation. It is blended from teh exclusive Johnnie Walker reserve of rare whiskies, which have all been matured for full 21 years. It contains an intriguing layer of intensity of sweet honey and tempered spices cloaked in warm smoke.
