Description
Hand-picked with sorting on the vine. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (40% new, 40% one-wine and 20% two-wine).
Tasting Notes
Elegant and medium-bodied with blanckcurrant, blackberry and p;um notes. Hints cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice. Smooth, fine tannins with balanced acidity and a long, refined finish.
Serving Suggestions
Pairs well with roasted or grilled red meats, lamb, duck, veal, and game dishes. Complements mushroom-based recipes and aged cheeses such as Comte or Gruyere.
